As a part of National Smile Month, NHS Mid and South Essex is launching a new children’s oral health campaign called Bright smiles are healthy smiles!
It is part of a longer-term campaign that will raise awareness of how to embed great oral health habits in children. Although the campaign is targeted across the whole of mid and south Essex, we want parents and carers in Southend to take part and learn how you can help create good habits in your children’s oral health.
Poor oral health can have a significant impact on children and young people’s well-being and development, which unfortunately can be seen in some groups more than other due to health inequalities.
