Closure of Norton Place
On Monday 6th July, Healthwatch Southend was notified about some proposed changes to the way NHS GP services are delivered in Shoebury. These changes involve the Southend East Primary Care Network and its use of Norton Place. Don't get cut off: New Hospital numbers
Important update: Old Mid and South Essex Hospital Phone Numbers to Be Switched Off from 31 August 2026 Patients are being reminded that all old telephone numbers for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust hospitals will be permanently switched off from 31 August 2026. After this date, the old numbers will no longer work. Callers will not hear a recorded message, and calls will not be redirected to the new numbers.
